Who?
I am Jamie. I could weigh myself down with an endless list of labels but at the end of the day, I’m simply a human.. being.
My journey is a search for an unborrowed life; a life of genuine freedom. For a long time, I rooted my sense of safety and worth in others—in their approval, their presence, their promises. My relationships were dominated by a subtle, underlying fear: a fear of being alone, a fear of not being enough or too much, of not being needed. This led to being imprisoned into a kind of transactional system of love, where I gave pieces of myself away in exchange for a feeling of security that was ultimately an illusion.
Over time, I’ve come to understand that true safety, true freedom, isn’t something that can be outsourced. It lives within us, a truth we already possess. My writing is a reflection of this unfolding awareness—a documentation of what it means to lead a life where emotional security and a sense of wholeness are self-owned, not dependent on others.
The path I walk, and the path my writing explores, is one of unfiltered humanity and unconditional love of self, and others. This isn’t about rejecting connection; it’s about redefining what it means for me.
My words are a testament of my journey to cultivate the kind of relationships—including the relationship I have with myself—that honour emotional freedom, where I can connect deeply without caging or being caged, and where I can open my heart without losing myself. It is a love that is not owed, a love that is not owned, but a love that flows from within me.

Why?
I write because I am still navigating this often perilous journey. I write to process the pain and betrayal of old fears and the freedom found in facing them head-on. I write to articulate a deeper, more honest way of being in the world—a way that moves beyond the need for external validation, beyond fear, and into a love that is free and resides within us all. What I present is not a system or a guide, but a homecoming to a truth I am always in the process of remembering.
